Every year in the month of May, enthusiastic members and invited guests of the George Rogers Clark Chapter meet on the South side of the Greenmount Cemetery (East High St.) to plant flowers, raise a new Flag, clean up and maintain the area of the Memorial to Merrifeld Vicory Born 1762 Bennington, VT - Died 1840 Springfield, OH., where the plaque pictured here is located.

Volunteers should bring clean up tools and water in jugs, bottles, or other containers as there is no source of water there.
